"On the morning of June 1, 2005, I received the worst news a mother could, my son died by suicide. Within the hour, it seemed the entire agency was by my side offering condolences and support.  Matt's Sergeant, Mike, was assigned as our liaison officer. Mike, with the support of the agency, planned a beautiful funeral with full honors for my son, a law enforcement officer.  It meant so much to our family to receive those honors and the tremendous support from the agency.
